We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor in our project in Baku, Azerbaijan. The tasks consists mainly of ensuring that construction works are done according the design and taking into account maximum safety, quality, operability and maintainability. The work will continue at least until 11.9.2017, however there is a high probability that the tasks continue also beyond this date. 
 
The overall project scope in nutshell is to build carbamide (urea) plant close to Baku in Azerbaijan, capable of producing liquid Ammonia (1,200 tons per day) and granulated carbamide (2000 tons per day). Neste Jacobs provides PMC services (Project Management Consultant), the other project stakeholders are SOCAR (Customer) and Samsung Engineering (the EPC contractor).
 
We require M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree and minimum 5 years of similar experience of the industry. We appreciate also experience in large scale international projects and effective English communication skills. Due to the nature of this position, we are unable to consider applicants whom are not legally already eligible to work in Azerbaijan. You live preferably in Sumgait area or close.

Job Title:  Mechanical Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

- Include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performs field inspections and oversees field measurements and data collection
- Performs package mechanical and electrical systems planned and corrective maintenance
- Gas Turbine Engine removal and installation
- Condition monitoring
- Conduct routine and complex engineering, design, analysis and technical tasks.
- Suggest for spare parts for rotating equipment.
- Supports and emphasizes the importance of safety and environmental programs and ensures compliance
- Generates and submits timely field service reports.
- Performs technical duties in area of responsibility.
- Recognizes problems and is proactive in helping to resolve them.
- Problem shooting and rectification.
- Evaluates component condition and repair options and performs risk assessment for maintenance activities.
- Identifies and implements new or existing repair technology in area of responsibility
- Performs field repairs of driven equipment, pumps, compressors and generators
- Contributing to Computerized Maintenance Management System Program (CMMS).
- Provide input on full field development specifications and related process equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all company and governmental safety, environmental and health rules and  regulations
- Any and all other duties as assigned by the Field Service Manager, including the possibility of   occasional workshop-based activities.

Education/Experience and Qualification

- Detailed knowledge of power plant systems and equipment in area of responsibility.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in turbine equipment onsite maintenance, operations, troubleshooting,  
- Experience in a similar industry is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge on rotating equipment installation/maintenance; philosophy of Gas Turbines and Centrifugal Compressors, and their auxiliaries (lube oil system, fuel gas system, seal gas system, steam system et), and SCADA system.

Working Conditions:

- Working environments is offshore based, but private site office will be provided.

MEP Engineer

Responsibilities:

 Managing of mechanical and electrical and plumbing maintenance works; formulating plans and strategies for effective maintenance; overseeing the proper working of all unites; inspecting MEP at the jobsite;
 Supervising employees to ensure efficient maintenance works;
 Complying with all safety norms and regulations of working;
 Coordinating operations, testing, quality assurance of machinery/equipment;
 Review of drawings & reading specifications;
 Conducting routine check for detection of any malfunctions; specializing in various kinds of repairs and upkeep;
 Ensuring the proper usage and handling of electrical testing equipment and tools;
 Prepare schedule of maintenance works; leading a team of staff and assistants and assigning tasks to them;
 Ensure that safety precautions are followed in installation, maintenance and working of equipment;
 Conducting necessary training activities;
 Spare planning; keeping a record of repair and maintenance functions;
 Maintains key control system, inventory;
 Handling worker problems and communicating to management;
 Reports to supervisor;
 Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

 Minimum 5 years previous maintenance experience;
 General knowledge of all commercial and residential MEP;
 Ability to operate, to diagnose and to repair maintenance equipment;
 Must understand the protocol for ordering parts and equipment;
 Ability to read and interpret data from charts, gauges, dials, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals as needed when making adjustments, repairs or installations;
 Ability to communicate well with general public;
 High School diploma;
 Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays;
 Driving licence;
 Good command in the English and Russian languages;
 Computer literate (data base experience preferable).
